Hello pet parents! Imari here, ready to love and spoil your furry family members. I am the owner of Scales to Tails Pet Sitting & Care and a Veterinary Technician of 9+ years. My calling is to care for and advocate for animals of all species, sizes, and temperaments. From my earliest childhood memories, my home has always been filled with pets of all sorts—a lifelong passion that ultimately inspired my career in veterinary medicine and professional pet care.

My background in veterinary medicine helps me provide excellent care for your fur babies and scale babies. Having spent most of my life around animals, I am confident in reading their subtle body language and paying close attention to the unique details of each individual pet. It brings joy to my soul getting to know each and every one of my pet clients, building a genuine bond with them, and earning their trust! It is incredibly rewarding to receive that excitable tail wag, welcoming head bump, or lick of trust.

When in my care, every pet is treated like family—exactly as if they were my own. My main priority is their health, happiness, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. Sticking to their normal day-to-day routine is key to keeping them as stress-free as possible!

Friends and family know me as 'The Cat Lady.’ I have six cats of my own, two beard dragons, and fish. Growing up with large breed dogs, I never got to experience the profound bond you can build with a cat until later in life. I fell in love with their mysteriousness, calming aura, and 'unconditional love with some conditions.' All cats have their own unique standards and expectations; no two are alike, and that is exactly why I love and appreciate them all.
